002.Świat w głowie - The world in your head

She ignored me, preoccupied with herself, turn into a wandering water that you can never enter twice, I later learne.

 

P. 15 내게는 지속성보다는 역동성이 한결 가치 있게 느껴졌다. 정지 상태에 머물러 있으면 부패와 타락에 이르고, 결국 한 줌의 재로 사라질 수밖에 없지만, 끊임없이 움직인다면 어쩌면 영원히지속될 수 있지 않을까. 그때부터였을 것이다, 

tojąc na przeciwpowodziowym wale, wpatrzona w nurt, zdałam sobie sprawę, że — mimo wszelkich niebezpieczeństw — zawsze lepsze będzie to, co jest w ruchu, niż to, co w spoczynku; że szlachetniejsza będzie zmiana niż stałość; że znieruchomiałe musi ulec rozpadowi, degeneracji i obrócić się w perzynę, ruchome zaś — będzie trwało nawet wiecznie.

Standing on the flood embankment, staring at the current, I realized that - despite all the dangers - it would always be better to move than what was at rest; that change is more noble than constancy; that immobile must disintegrate, degenerate and turn to dust, while mobile - it will last forever.
